The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) brought its campus community together for this year’s Clubs Fair, transforming the University’s campus into a vibrant celebration of student talent, creativity, leadership, and connection.
Organised by the Student Engagement & Alumni Affairs Directorate, the annual event provided students with a platform to discover new interests and become more actively involved in campus life.
Held under the theme “Woven Together,” the fair reflected the idea that each student club represents a unique thread contributing to the strength and diversity of the wider UDST community. The Clubs Fair brought together more than 30 student clubs in one place, giving students an opportunity to connect with others and find where they belong within the UDST community.
This year’s Clubs Fair also welcomed the Scouts Club, in collaboration with the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association, further expanding opportunities for students to participate, lead, and contribute to campus life.
More than a showcase of student clubs, the Clubs Fair reflected UDST’s commitment to creating a dynamic university experience where students can explore their passions beyond the classroom.
Throughout the fair, student clubs showcased their activities and achievements through interactive booths spanning arts and culture, technology, entrepreneurship, sports, health, entertainment, and more. Several clubs also demonstrated their commitment to sustainability by creatively incorporating recycled and environmentally friendly materials into their booth designs.
Fahad al-Hajri, vice-president for student affairs at UDST, said: “We believe that a successful university experience extends beyond academic achievement. Our student clubs provide a space where students can discover their passions, develop their leadership abilities, collaborate with others, and turn their ideas into meaningful initiatives.
The Clubs Fair is a reflection of the enthusiasm and creativity within our student community, and it demonstrates what can be achieved when students are empowered to take ownership and lead.”
To recognise the dedication and creativity of participating clubs, the university also presented awards celebrating outstanding contributions across the fair. The recognition encouraged healthy competition while highlighting the commitment, teamwork, and innovation demonstrated by students throughout the event.
