His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met in his office at the Amiri Diwan Monday morning with Hungarian ambassador Ferenc Korom, who called on His Highness to greet him at the end of his tenure in the country.  HH the Amir granted the Al Wajbah Decoration to the Hungarian Ambassador in recognition of his efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Qatar and Hungary, wishing him success in his future missions, and the relations between the two countries further development and progress.  The ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HH the Amir and the country's officials for the co-operation he received during his tenure, which contributed to the success of his work.

The Ministry of Interior received Sunday a delegation from Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral security co-operation and expand the exchange of expertise. The Saudi delegation was headed by Major General Dr Ibrahim Satam al-Anzi, director-general of the General Department of Legal Affairs at the General Directorate of Public Security. The delegation toured the Correctional Institutions Department, the Judgments Enforcement Department, the Police Academy, the Juvenile Police Department, the Police Rescue Department (Al-Fazaa) and the Capital Security Department to review best practices and exchange expertise across various areas of security and policing.

His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al-Hammadi met Wednesday with non-resident ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the State of Qatar Natalia al-Mansour, on the occasion of the end of her tenure.  HE al-Hammadi extended thanks to the ambassador for her efforts in supporting and strengthening bilateral relations, wishing her success in her future duties.

His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani met Tuesday with Niger's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Co-operation and Nigeriens Abroad Bakary Yaou Sangare, who is visiting the country.The prime minister received a written message of condolences from Niger's President General Abdourahamane Tchiani, conveying his condolences to Qatar on the passing of late His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani. They also discussed bilateral co-operation and ways to enhance it, along with issues of mutual interest.  

The Acting President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Ecuador Esteban Torres met on Tuesday with the ambassador of the State of Qatar to the country Fahad Ahmed Jassim al-Hamar. The meeting took place in the capital Quito and focused on exploring ways to strengthen bilateral relations and co-operation between the two nations.
