His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani met Sunday with visiting Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
They discussed bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them, particularly in the economic field, along with regional developments and their impact on the global economy and energy markets, as well as several other issues of common interest.
Both sides stressed the importance of resolving disputes and conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic means, which contributes to strengthening security and stability at the regional and international levels.
They agreed to continue enhancing co-operation on a number of priority issues for Qatar and India by activating joint working mechanisms and bilateral committees between the two countries.
