MES Indian School celebrated talent, creativity, confidence, and youthful exuberance at Regalia 2026, a much-awaited youth festival that unfolded on 23rd and 24th September 2026. The vibrant youth festival gives students a dynamic platform to showcase their literary, artistic, cultural, and creative talents through a wide range of competitions and activities. Shivapriya Suresh, Title Winner of Asianet Star Singer Season 10, graced the inaugural ceremony as the Chief Guest.

 

 

With more than 2,500 contestants, 300+ competitions, and 40 events across more than 15 venues, Regalia 2026 proved to be a remarkable celebration of the diverse talents and potential of young learners. A wide variety of competitions took place in the Sub-Junior I, Sub-Junior II, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior categories.

 

The events provided students with opportunities to demonstrate their abilities in music, dance, literature, oratory, traditional arts, and Islamic activities. The competitions included Light Music (Eastern and Western), Cinematic Dance, Folk Dance, Mono Act, Poem Recitation, Fancy Dress, Tajweed, Hifz, Group Song, Oppana, Mohiniyattam, Kathak, and Elocution.

 

 

Hanan Mohamed Shameem (Class 6), Riham Shahanaz (Class 8) and Evelyn Johnly (Class12) emerged as the Best Individual Artists in Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories, respectively, from the Girls’ Section. In the Boys’ Section, Aditya Prashanth (Class 5), Aasim Ismayil Parambath (Class 8), and Muhammed Hasbin (Class 12) were declared as the Individual Artists in Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories, respectively.

 

 

In the Junior Section, Muhammed Hazam (Class 1) in the Sub-Junior I boys, Lahaan Latheef (Class 2) in Sub-Junior I girls, Dharshanth Krishna (Class 4) in Sub-Junior II Boys, and Divina Pradeep (Class 4) in Sub-Junior II Girls were adjudged as the Best Individual Artists of their respective categories.

 

 

The festival culminated in a grand valedictory function, marking the programme’s successful completion and celebrating the students’ achievements. The function included, among other things, a video presentation highlighting the students’ performances and the Report presented by Anver K. Dr Hameeda Kadar, principal, addressed the gathering, congratulated the students, and appreciated the staff’s dedicated efforts and parents’ continued support.

 

 

The School Activity Conveners, Anver K, Sumitha Abdul Nassar and Fency Pathrose, along with a team of dedicated teachers, played a pivotal role in planning, coordinating and executing the various events with precision and efficiency. The contributions of teachers, judges, event coordinators, volunteers and student representatives were equally commendable.
