An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale struck north of the city of Kirkuk, Iraq, on Wednesday.
According to the Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology, the quake was centered approximately 25 kilometers north of Kirkuk.
Monitoring teams are tracking seismic activity in the area for any possible aftershocks in the coming hours, the organization said.
There have been no reports of casualties or material damage.
