 Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah discussed the latest regional updates and ongoing efforts to achieve security and stability, during a phone call Wednesday.The call saw the Saudi Crown Prince express the Kingdom's full solidarity with and support for the State of Kuwait, as well as its strong condemnation of the continued and blatant Iranian attacks on Kuwaiti territory. 

North Korea reaffirmed its support for Russia's war on Ukraine as the nations' foreign ministers met in Moscow, Pyongyang's state media reported Tuesday, increasing speculation Kim Jong-un may soon visit the Kremlin.Diplomatically isolated North Korea and Russia have rapidly expanded co-operation since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in early 2022.Pyongyang has sent troops to Russia's embattled Kursk region and supplied Moscow with weapons systems, in return securing financial assistance, food, energy supplies and military technology, analysts say.Following a Moscow meeting between North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui and her Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, Pyongyang's state media said the nations had "reaffirmed their steadfast political will to accelerate the long-term multi-faceted development of the bilateral relations"."The DPRK side expressed invariable support for all the internal and external policies of the Russian Federation to eliminate the root cause of the Ukrainian dispute and defend its national sovereignty, territorial integrity and international justice," state news agency KCNA said.The agency reported that Russia, meanwhile, expressed full support for North Korea's efforts to defend its sovereignty and security."I would like once again to express my gratitude for the support provided to the special military operation we are conducting," Putin said in a video released by the Kremlin on Sunday.Choe laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers by the wall of the Kremlin on her visit, KCNA said Tuesday.Kim Jong-un last travelled to Russia in September 2023, and Putin made a rare visit to Pyongyang in June 2024.Choe's visit to Moscow could have been aimed at discussing a trip to Russia by Kim later this year, according to South Korean media reports."Putin has repeatedly invited Kim to visit Russia since his trip to Pyongyang in 2024," Park Won-gon, a professor of North Korean studies at Ewha Womans University, told AFP.Chinese president Xi Jinping made a rare trip to Pyongyang last month, where he and Kim pledged to bolster ties.While Pyongyang has drawn closer to Moscow, China remains North Korea's largest economic partner, accounting for nearly 98 percent of the country's foreign trade in 2024, according to official figures."After hosting Chinese President Xi Jinping this year, Kim would have a strong incentive to visit Russia as well," Park said."It would showcase North Korea breaking out of diplomatic isolation while highlighting support from both China and Russia, reinforcing the image of a North Korea-China-Russia alignment." 

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi have stressed, during a telephone conversation, the importance of immediately ceasing all military actions, adding that these actions would trigger a broader regional conflict.They underlined that it is highly essential to prioritize political and diplomatic solutions, as well as ramp up coordination and consultation among Arab nations to safeguard the security and stability of the region and their peoples' assets.In a statement on Monday, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Abdelatty reemphasized during the conversation that Egypt condemns the Iranian attacks on several areas in Jordan.He confirmed that his country fully stands side by side with Jordan and backs all measures it takes to protect its security, stability, and sovereignty, expressing his flat-out rejection of any assault that undermines the security and sovereignty of Arab nations.On the Palestinian cause, the two ministers underscored the need to implement all gains of the first phase of US President Donald Trump's plan and ensure the unhindered flow of life-saving humanitarian aid, as well as relief and medical assistance, into the Gaza Strip.Both sides asserted that this aid would mitigate the suffering of the Palestinian people, stressing the importance of reaching an agreement on the second phase of this plan, which includes the Israeli withdrawal from the enclave.The two ministers also condemned the ongoing Israeli violations in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, as a non-starter.In addition, both sides concurred on continuing closer coordination and consultation between Egypt and Jordan and beefing up the existing cooperation mechanisms to serve their shared interests, achieve the aspirations of their peoples, and ensure that coordination proceeds on a variety of regional and international issues of mutual concern.

The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) announced on Monday that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial attacks.In a statement, the General Command said that Iran continues its systematic hostile approach through unlawful missile and drone attacks targeting civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain.The General Command confirmed that all its services and units remain at the highest levels of readiness and full defensive preparedness to protect the Kingdom.It stressed that targeting civilians and private property with missiles and drones is a violation of international humanitarian law.The General Command urged the public to exercise caution, avoid approaching or handling any unfamiliar or suspicious objects resulting from the remnants of the Iranian attacks, and report them immediately.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed the latest regional developments amid the military escalation in the region during a phone call with US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff.Abdelatty affirmed Egypt's support for all efforts aimed at resolving the current crisis through dialogue and diplomatic means, welcoming the progress achieved through the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran.During the call, the Egyptian Minister stressed the importance of adhering to the MoU and ensuring it represents a constructive step towards reducing tensions and enhancing security and stability in the region.

Three Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured on Saturday in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a group of people in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, according to medical sources.A fourth Palestinian died of wounds sustained in an Israeli strike that targeted civilians at the Al-Shaabiya junction, also east of Gaza City, on Friday.Meanwhile, a Palestinian was injured after being shot by an Israeli drone at a camp for displaced people in the Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood, east of the city.The latest casualties came after a deadly day in the Gaza Strip on Friday, when 14 Palestinians were martyred, including seven in an Israeli strike that hit a funeral in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.The death toll from Israel's ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,250, with 173,751 others injured. 

The Arab League warned of the grave danger posed by Iran's criminal and reckless attacks against a number of Arab states, particularly in the Gulf region.In a statement Saturday, Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy described the attacks as an attempt to widen the scope of the conflict and drive the region towards greater instability and insecurity.The secretary-general expressed the League's unequivocal rejection of this unjustified Iranian aggression, noting that the escalating pattern of Iran's blatant and reprehensible attacks against Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar and Kuwait, which have targeted critical infrastructure and vital facilities, as well as its repeated attacks on the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, reflects an aggressive course of conduct that cannot be tolerated or accepted.These actions demonstrate Tehran's continued reliance on policies founded on grave miscalculations and a flawed reading of regional realities, while constituting a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of Arab states, international law, and the principles of good neighbourliness, Fahmy stressed.He emphasised that any attack against an Arab state constitutes an attack on Arab national security and the collective interests of the Arab nation.The Arab League secretary-general urged Iran to de-escalate immediately, cease its attacks without delay, refrain from fuelling tensions, spreading instability, and threatening maritime security through its proxies in the region, and to return to the path of negotiations in full compliance with its international obligations and international law.Fahmy reaffirmed the League's full solidarity with the Arab states concerned and its unwavering support for them in confronting the serious challenges threatening their sovereignty, interests, and Arab national security.He also asserted the League's support for all measures taken by Arab states to safeguard their security and stability. 

The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression against the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,250, with 173,751 others injured, since October 7, 2023. Medical sources in Gaza reported that hospitals across the Strip received the bodies of four martyrs and 28 injured over the past 24 hours. The same sources said that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 1,127, with 3,643 injured, while 800 bodies have been recovered.A number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach them. 

Three Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured Thursday morning in Israeli shelling on Gaza City.According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), citing medical sources, Israeli artillery shelling targeted the Zeitoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City, killing one Palestinian and injuring three others. The same sources said that two other people who were killed.  A number of injured individuals were brought to Al-Shifa Hospital in western Gaza City after Israeli aircraft struck the area within Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of the city.According to the latest reported figures, the death toll from Israel's military campaign in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,246 people killed and 173,727 injured.

The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced on Monday that Kuwait's air defense systems were engaging hostile aerial targets within Kuwaiti airspace.The blasts heard are the result of mid-air interception operations, said the General Staff in a statement, advising the public to abide by the safety instructions outlined by the relevant authorities.
