Israel continued its attacks on southern Lebanon Monday, carrying out detonations and shelling in several areas.
Lebanon's National News Agency reported that Israeli forces shelled the areas surrounding the towns of Haddatha and Baraachit in the Bint Jbeil district of Nabatieh Governorate in southern Lebanon.
Israel also shelled the towns of Mansouri and Majdal Zoun while firing illumination flares over villages in the western sector.
Lebanon and Israel signed a US-brokered framework agreement last June outlining security arrangements, including the gradual deployment of the Lebanese army and the withdrawal of Israeli forces, alongside measures for reconstruction and economic recovery. However, implementation of its provisions continues to face obstacles.
