His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani has reiterated Doha's strong support for ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran, describing dialogue as the key to achieving lasting regional stability.
The remarks came during a meeting in Doha Tuesday with Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs Tom Berendsen, where the two sides discussed bilateral relations and recent developments in the Middle East.
The talks focused on diplomatic efforts aimed at strengthening security and stability in the region following the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran.
The prime minister stressed Qatar's full backing for the negotiations, expressing hope that the discussions would lead to sustainable solutions to outstanding issues through peaceful means.
He said progress in the talks could enhance regional security, create new opportunities for cooperation, development and prosperity, and serve the shared interests of people across the Middle East and beyond.
