Bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan are deep-rooted across all levels, including the cultural field, which represents a model of cooperation between the two countries, given their strong historical ties. Cultural cooperation is reinforced by the alignment of political visions between the two countries, offering an exceptional model of bilateral relations, particularly in the cultural sphere, placing the two countries at the forefront of influence both regionally and internationally. Relations between the State of Qatar and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan are based on integration and mutual respect, thanks to the wisdom of the two leaderships and their shared visions, which contribute to enriching the cultural landscape and strengthening the Arab cultural identity. Cooperation between the two countries has been strengthened by the recent signing of a number of agreements and partnerships, which have contributed to advancing bilateral cultural relations to broader horizons. During this year, the State of Qatar and Jordan signed a cultural cooperation agreement that includes coordination and joint exchange in all cultural and artistic affairs between the two countries. The agreement was signed on the Qatari side by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the HashemiteKingdom of Jordan Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al-Thani, while it was signed on the Jordanian side by HE Minister of Culture Ali Al Ayed. The agreement aims to deepen fraternal relations and cooperation to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries, enhancing their bonds in joint Arab action. Historically, the first cultural cooperation agreement between the two brotherly countries was established in 1972, followed by an executive program for cultural cooperation for the years 1995-1997, signed in 1994, and in June 2021, a new cultural cooperation agreement was signed to deepen the bonds of cultural and artistic cooperation. Cooperation between the national libraries of the two countries is no less important than other cultural tributaries. The most prominent forms of this cooperation include the exchange of manuscripts, publications, and scientific information, the restoration of manuscripts, joint library training, the participation of Jordanian publishing houses in the Doha International Book Fair (DIBF), and Qatari participation in the Amman International Book Fair, where the State of Qatar was the guest of honor at the 22nd edition of the Amman International Book Fair. The State of Qatar showcased its distinguished presence at the exhibition through a rich and diverse cultural program that reflects the excellence of the Qatari cultural scene, offering the exhibition's audience an opportunity to explore its most prominent features, as it represents a new chapter in the cultural relations between the two brotherly countries, particularly the ties that connect Jordanian publishers with Qatari cultural institutions concerned with publishing and distribution. It also highlights their joint work through the International Publishers Association (IPA) and the Arab Publishers Association (APA), in which Jordan holds important positions. The Ministry of Culture also participated in the 37th edition of Jordan's Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts, where its pavilion attracted a large turnout from the Jordanian public and festival visitors of various nationalities who came to learn about the various aspects of authentic Qatari culture and heritage, as part of the Ministry's commitment to introducing the world to Qatar's rich heritage through participation in international events and festivals. Jordanian intellectuals and writers have received the lion's share of Qatari literary awards, including the Katara Prize for Arabic Novel and the State Prize for Children's Literature, over multiple editions. Furthermore, over the years, the two sides have exchanged artistic performances, including theater and musical concerts, during major events such as the selection of Doha as the Arab Capital of Culture in 2010, Doha as the Capital of Culture in the Islamic World 2021, and Irbid as the Arab capital of culture for 2022. In addition, a number of popular bands have been hosted to perform at the Souq Waif Spring Festival.

HE Ali Bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, Minister of Finance, held a bilateral meeting with Mathias Cormann, the secretary of The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), in France.During the meeting, various pressing subjects related to both parties were discussed, particularly in the areas of finance and economy.Moreover, both parties expressed their intention to cooperate meaningfully for mutual benefits and shared interests.

The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, who is on a visit to the UAE, discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern, including the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar. Both sides reiterated their countries' condemnation of the attack and expressed their solidarity with Qatar, emphasizing that such acts undermine regional security, stability, and prospects for peace.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting at the Amiri Diwan on Thursday, where they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support them across various fields, in addition to discussing regional developments and efforts to achieve peace and stability for the benefit of all peoples of the region. At the outset of the meeting, HH the Amir welcomed the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the accompanying delegation, expressing his pleasure with this visit, which reflects the depth of relations between the two countries. For his part, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, reiterated the Islamic Republic of Pakistan's full solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people, and its support for all measures that Qatar may take to preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity. He stressed that the blatant Israeli attack constitutes a violation of Qatar's sovereignty, contravenes all international laws and norms, and undermines the security, stability, and prospects for peace in the region. He commended the efforts of HH the Amir to achieve peace and stability in the region. In this regard, HH the Amir voiced his deep appreciation to the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for his solidarity, sincere fraternal feelings, and his country's supportive stance toward the State of Qatar and its people. During the meeting, HH the Amir and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual concern, particularly the current situation in the Middle East. The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening dialogue and diplomatic solutions as the optimal way to overcome regional crises and maintain regional and global security. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, and a number of their senior officials. On Pakistan's side, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister of Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and a number of senior official members of the accompanying delegation. Following the meeting, HH the Amir and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan held a bilateral meeting during which they exchanged views and opinions on a number of issues of mutual interest.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met Monday with British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper to discuss the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and bilateral relations between Palestine and the United Kingdom. During the meeting, Abbas outlined key Palestinian priorities, including an immediate and lasting ceasefire, unrestricted access for humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, the release of hostages and detainees, the withdrawal of occupying forces, and the launch of early recovery and reconstruction efforts. He reiterated that Gaza is an integral part of the State of Palestine and affirmed that the Palestinian government will assume full responsibility for the territory, with support from Arab and international partners.

The call also dealt with key regional and international developments of mutual interest.During the call, His Highness the Amir welcomed Canada's announcement of its intention to recognise the State of Palestine, emphasising that this positive step is consistent with international legitimacy resolutions and supports the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people.In this regard, the two sides stressed the need to maintain security and stability in the region, which would contribute to supporting peace and development efforts.

HE Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed al-Thani met with Minister of Transport and Logistic Services of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Eng Saleh bin Nasser al-Jasser Thursday.The two ministers discussed aspects of bilateral co-operation in transportation, and ways to propel them to new heights, particularly in logistic services that support that vital industry.They also discussed the common opportunities that can be utilized by the two countries thanks to their unique geographical locations, thereby enhancing their leading regional and international positions in sustainable transportation.The meeting was attended by HE the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport Mohammed Abdullah al-Maadeed, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Qatar Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan al-Saud, Vice-Minister of Transport and Logistic Services of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr Rumaih bin Mohammed al-Rumaih, and several other officials from both sides.

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and King Abdullah II of Jordan, who is visiting Tashkent, discussed on Tuesday ways of strengthening bilateral relations and exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East.During the meeting, King Abdullah II emphasized the urgent need to halt the Israeli assault on Gaza, end the humanitarian catastrophe in the Strip, and ensure the unimpeded flow of aid.He also underscored the importance of stopping the dangerous escalation in the West Bank and the ongoing violations against Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
