His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani held separate telephone calls Monday with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahyan, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah al-Saud, Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah, Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al-Busaidi, and Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani.They discussed bilateral co-operation in each call and the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts and joint co-ordination to de-escalate and strengthen the region's security and stability.The prime minister stressed the importance of all parties committing to dialogue and diplomacy, and implementing what was agreed in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran, including freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, to maintain the region's security, protect the gains made and enhance stability.He renewed Qatar's support for all efforts to defuse tensions and reach a comprehensive agreement establishing permanent peace in the region.The calls extend a pattern of engagement the prime minister has sustained without interruption since the crisis began — a near-continuous round of consultations with Gulf, regional and international counterparts, conducted through the sharpest phases of the conflict and carried on into the fragile calm that followed. Qatar's diplomacy has rested throughout on a single proposition: that no outcome secured by force endures, and that the only durable settlement is one both Washington and Tehran arrive at across a table.That endeavour, pursued alongside Pakistan and reinforced by the mediation that produced the ceasefire framework, brought the two capitals back into direct contact after months in which contact itself had appeared beyond reach. Qatar's argument to its neighbours now is that the agreement is a beginning rather than a conclusion — that implementation, particularly on freedom of navigation through Hormuz, is what will determine whether the region's hard-won gains hold.  

Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari participated in the opening session of the Gulf Research Meeting titled "Regional Security from Gulf Perspectives and the Future of the Regional Order." Held annually by the Gulf Research Center in Cambridge, United Kingdom, the forum brought together more than 450 researchers specializing in Gulf studies.The session explored the geopolitical transformations underway in the region and their implications for regional security and stability. It emphasized the importance of developing more comprehensive approaches to confront shared challenges and strengthening regional and international cooperation to support security and stability.During his remarks, Dr. Al Ansari stressed that recent regional developments have altered the concept of security in the region, extending beyond the military sphere to encompass maritime and aviation security, energy, infrastructure, and economics, a matter which necessitates the adoption of a more comprehensive security concept based on the integration of security, economic, and developmental dimensions.The Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of strengthening joint Gulf action and building balanced partnerships with the international community based on shared responsibility in order to consolidate security and stability, support development and prosperity, and achieve a more sustainable future for the peoples of the region.

President of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmed Al Sharaa met on Saturday with His Excellency Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi. During the meeting, HE the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's greetings to the President of the Syrian Arab Republic and His Highness's wishes for good health and happiness to His Excellency, as well as for enduring progress and prosperity for the government and people of Syria. For his part, the President of the Syrian Arab Republic entrusted HE the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with conveying his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness and the State of Qatar continued progress, development, and prosperity. The two sides discussed deepening and expanding bilateral cooperation in a variety of fields, along with a range of matters of shared interest.

His Excellency Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi met on Sunday with Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the State of Qatar, Dmitry Nikolayevich Dogadkin, on the occasion of the end of his tenure.HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs extended thanks to Ambassador for his efforts in supporting and strengthening bilateral relations, wishing him success in his new duties.

HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi held talks on Monday with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation at the Government of National Unity of the State of Libya, Taher Salem Al Baour.The discussions took place on the margins of the Arab foreign ministers' consultative meeting, which was held in the Jordanian capital Amman.The two officials discussed existing cooperation between the two nations and explored ways to further enhance ties across various fields. They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

Qatar and Indonesia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish political consultations between the two countries' foreign ministries.The first round of political consultation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Qatar and Indonesia was held Monday in Jakarta, Indonesia.His Excellency Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi led Qatar's side, while Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Anis Matta led the hosts.The first round of political consultation discussed the co-operation between the two countries, along with ways to support and strengthen it. It also discussed regional and international developments, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.  

The State of Qatar strongly condemns the renewed Iranian attacks against the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Kuwait, considering them a blatant violation of the sovereignty of these countries and a flagrant breach of international law.In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need to spare the region the repercussions of these unjustified attacks and to work towards de-escalation in order to restore regional and international security and stability.The Ministry reiterates the State of Qatar's full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain and its support for all measures they take to preserve their sovereignty and security. 

His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani met Tuesday with Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council of the Arab Gulf States (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, who is visiting the country.  They discussed prospects for strengthening the progress and achievements of the GCC, in addition to the latest developments and updates in the region.
