The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has released 40,000 baby fish from the finned black seabream species off the Katara Beach, considering it a natural reserve and a suitable environment as fishing is banned there.
In a statement, Katara - The Cultural Village said the waters off Katara Beach enjoys high environmental standards that make it an ideal place for the protection and growth of the fish species to enrich the fish wealth in Qatar and protect its marine biodiversity.
