His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani received, at the Amiri Diwan Tuesday, the credentials of six new ambassadors to the country.
His Highness received the credentials of Ambassador of Sweden Josefin Simonsson Broden, Ambassador of the European Union Antonino Maggiore, Ambassador of Russia Artem Kozhin, Ambassador of the Czech Republic Marta Huskova, Ambassador of Thailand Pensom Lertsithichai, and Ambassador of India Dr K Srikar Reddy.
HH the Amir welcomed the new ambassadors, wishing them success in their duties and further progress and prosperity in bilateral relations between Qatar and their countries.
The ambassadors conveyed to HH the Amir the greetings of their countries' leaders, along with their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Qatar.
The ambassadors were accorded an official reception ceremony upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
