Her Excellency the Minister of State for International Co-operation Dr Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser al-Misnad has held talks in Doha with the visiting Bangladeshi National Security Adviser Khalilur Rahman. The meeting focused on bilateral relations and ways to bolster co-operation, particularly in the humanitarian field. The visit comes as Qatar continues to position itself as a key humanitarian actor in the region and beyond.  

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan discussed developments in the Gaza Strip, as well as ways to enhance bilateral relations, during their meeting on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa.The two ministers emphasised the importance of implementing the latest United Nations Security Council resolution on the Gaza Strip and enabling the International Stabilisation Force to carry out its duties.The meeting also reviewed Egypt's efforts to consolidate the Sharm El-Sheikh peace agreement and to support the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. In addition, the ministers discussed a number of regional issues of mutual interest, ways to implement the outcomes of the recent Joint Planning Group meeting held in Ankara, Turkiye, and preparations for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Cairo to chair the second meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, scheduled for 2026.

His Excellency Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs, met with Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ghana, who is currently visiting Qatar.The meeting reviewed the trade and investment relations between the two countries and explored ways to enhance bilateral relations, in addition to discussing a number of issues of mutual interest.

His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani received a written message from Iranian Foreign Minister Dr Abbas Araghchi, pertaining to bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them.His Excellency the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh al-Khulaifi received the message during his meeting Sunday with Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Majid Takht Ravanchi. The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to support and enhance them, as well as the developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, in light of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, besides topics of mutual interest.

His Excellency Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi met Thursday with ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the State of Qatar Ioannis Ioannidis on the occasion of the end of his tenure. His Excellency the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs extended thanks to the ambassador for his efforts in supporting and strengthening bilateral relations, wishing him success in his new duties.

His Excellency the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh al-Khulaifi, met Tuesday with the visiting Lebanese Deputy Prime Minister Dr Tarek Mitri. The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them, besides the developments in Lebanon as well as other topics of mutual interest. HE Dr al-Khulaifi reiterated Qatar's supportive stance towards Lebanon and its continued solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people. His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani received a written message from President of the Republic of Namibia, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah pertaining to bilateral relations and ways to bolster them. The message was received by the His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani, during his meeting Thursday with Prime Minister of the Republic of Namibia, Elijah Ngurare.

His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, met on Monday with the President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, on the sidelines of the Second Global Summit for Social Development 2025, currently underway in Doha.The two leaders discussed bilateral relations and explored ways to strengthen cooperation between Qatar and Albania. Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty held talks in Cairo with his Austrian counterpart Beate Meinl-Reisinger, focusing on regional developments — particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip — as well as ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.During the discussions, Minister Abdelatty emphasized the importance of fully implementing the agreement to end the war in Gaza and of initiating early recovery and reconstruction efforts.He also stressed the need to ensure the unimpeded delivery of sufficient humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip to meet the urgent needs of its population.In this context, Abdelatty expressed hope that Austria would actively participate in the upcoming international conference on early recovery, reconstruction, and development in Gaza, to be hosted by Egypt later this month, in a way that meaningfully supports the Palestinian people.Regarding bilateral relations, the Egyptian Foreign Minister reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to enhancing all aspects of cooperation with Austria and to strengthening coordination on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
