His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani awarded the Al Wajbah Decoration to Turkish ambassador Dr Mustafa Goksu in recognition of his contribution to strengthening relations between Qatar and Turkiye.
The honour came as HH the Amir received the ambassador at the Amiri Diwan Tuesday to mark the end of his tenure in Qatar.
HH the Amir wished Goksu success in his future assignments and relations between the two countries further progress and prosperity.
The ambassador thanked HH the Amir and state officials for their co-operation, which he said had contributed to the success of his mission in Qatar.
