His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met at his office in Lusail Palace Sunday with Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan. At the outset of the meeting, the Turkish foreign minister conveyed his condolences to HH the Amir on the passing of HH the late Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.
HH the Amir thanked the Turkish FM for his sincere condolences. They addressed the close co-operation between the two countries and the latest regional and international developments, particularly those in the region as well as ongoing diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at de-escalation and enhancing regional security and stability.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani and His Excellency Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed al-Khulaifi.
