Al-Watad Publishing and Distribution House announced on its Facebook account the signing of an agreement with Dr Mabkhout al-Bufarih al-Marri to publish two books:
*A Summary of Remote Work Contracts and
*Artificial Intelligence within the Scope of Labour Law.
This collaboration aims to support legal knowledge and keep pace with transformations in the work environment and modern legislation.
Dr al-Marri said his book *Artificial Intelligence within the Scope of Labour Law offers an in-depth study of the radical transformation the world is witnessing in the labour market’s structure as a result of the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
It analyses the impact of these modern technologies on employment patterns, performance evaluation, and professional decision-making.
He also noted that the book discusses emerging legal challenges, such as algorithmic bias, the legal liability of intelligent systems, and workers’ rights in the face of non-human decisions.
Regarding *A Summary of Remote Work Contracts, Dr al-Marri said that it comprises a collection of legal articles published in the Arabic daily *Al-Raya that address various topics in Qatari labour law in a clear and direct manner.
He noted that he focused on highlighting key legislative developments and discussing contemporary issues, such as remote work contracts, the relationship of subordination, wages, and legal liability.
Dr al-Marri added that the book combines legal depth with a simplified approach, making it suitable for both specialists and non-specialists.
The two publications are scheduled to be available at the Doha International Book Fair (DIBF) as part of Al-Watad Publishing House’s commitment to supporting cultural and intellectual development and promoting legal awareness among diverse groups.
