HH the Amir, Jordan crown prince stress de-escalation

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met Monday at the Amiri Diwan with Jordanian Crown Prince Al- Hussein bin Abdullah II. At the outset of the meeting, HH the Amir welcomed the crown prince, affirming the depth of the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries.  The crown prince conveyed to HH the Amir the greetings of King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein along with his wishes of continued good health and happiness to His Highness, and further progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.  Crown Prince Al-Hussein underscored the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts to achieve a comprehensive and sustainable de-escalation that would restore stability in the region.  He also expressed Jordan's full support for, and solidarity with Qatar and other countries in the region in safeguarding their security and sovereignty, reiterating his country's condemnation of the attacks targeting Qatar. In turn, HH the Amir entrusted the crown prince to convey his greetings to the Jordanian king, wishing him continued good health and well-being, and the brotherly people of Jordan continued growth and prosperity.  HH the Amir also expressed Qatar's appreciation for Jordan's supportive stance, emphasising the importance of continued coordination and consultation on regional developments in a manner that contributes to de-escalation and strengthens the foundations of security and stability in the region.  During the meeting, both sides highlighted the strong fraternal ties between the two countries and discussed ways to further enhance and develop them. They also exchanged views on key regional and international developments.  The crown prince departed Doha following a working visit to the country. He was seen off upon departure at Doha International Airport by His Excellency Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, and Jordanian ambassador Zaid Mufleh al-Lozi. Earlier upon his arrival the crown prince was welcomed by both the interior minister and the ambassador.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the President of the friendly French Republic Emmanuel Macron discussed the two countries' strategic cooperation relations and ways to support and further strengthen them across various fields. This came during a telephone call HH the Amir received from the French President. During the call, the two sides exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, particularly efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region, developments related to the Iranian issue and its implications for regional security, as well as the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, efforts to achieve a ceasefire and protect civilians.The call further addressed ways to support stability in Lebanon and to safeguard its security and sovereignty.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani discussed Wednesday with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif the latest regional and international developments of joint interest, particularly de-escalation, enhancing dialogue, empowering peaceful solutions, and supporting diplomatic efforts aiming to support security and stability in the region. This followed a telephone call His Highness the Amir held with Prime Minister Sharif. They also dealt with discussed bilateral relations and the means to enhance them.The Pakistan Prime Minister's Office (PMO) reported that Sharif appreciated Qatar’s constructive and proactive role in promoting peace, dialogue, and mediation across the region, and acknowledged its meaningful efforts to defuse tensions through diplomatic solutions. He assured the Qatari leadership that Pakistan would also continue to play a positive role in maintaining regional peace and stability.The two leaders expressed satisfaction at the current trajectory of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their shared resolve to further strengthen these time-tested fraternal bonds, the PMO noted.

Iranian and Egyptian Foreign Ministers hold talks on bilateral relations

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed in a phone call on Saturday with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, bilateral relations and regional and international developments. According to Iranian news agency (IRNA), the two sides exchanged views on the latest developments in Gaza, in light of the understanding reached to bring an end to the genocide. During the phone call, Araghchi expressed his deep concern over the blatant violations of the ceasefire agreement by the Israeli entity in recent days, which have resulted in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of Palestinians. He emphasized the responsibility of the ceasefire guarantors and the entire international community to prevent the continuation of Israeli killings and crimes.
