His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received at his office in the Amiri Diwan today the credentials of three new ambassadors to the State. His Highness received the credentials of Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Shraim, Ambassador of the sisterly State of Kuwait; Aybek Tektobolotov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic; and Ana Filomena da Costa Rocha, Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal. His Highness the Amir welcomed the new ambassadors, wishing them success in their duties and further progress and prosperity in the bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and their countries. For their part, the ambassadors conveyed to His Highness the Amir the greetings of their countries’ leaders and their wishes for the Qatari people to continue to develop and prosper. An official reception ceremony was held for the ambassadors upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan.

Chief of Government Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Olivier Baldauff, has received a copy of the credentials of HE Talal bin Almas Al Saleh Al Sulaiti as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar (non-resident) to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

His Excellency Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, received on Thursday a copy of the credentials from the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Oliver Owcza and the Ambassador of the French Republic to the State of Qatar Arnaud Pescheux. HE the Secretary-General, wished both Ambassadors' success in carrying out their duties, stressing that they will receive full support to strengthen bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and their respective countries, in order to achieve closer cooperation across various fields.
