His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani held a telephone conversation with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah al-Saud to discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and expand co-operation.
The two sides also reviewed the latest regional developments, particularly ongoing diplomatic efforts and joint co-ordination aimed at de-escalating tensions and enhancing security and stability across the region.
HE the Prime Minister reaffirmed Qatar’s support for all diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at reaching a solution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and paves the way for a comprehensive agreement to achieve lasting peace in the region.
The discussions come against the backdrop of Qatar’s sustained diplomatic engagement over the past eight months, during which Doha has continued to pursue mediation and dialogue as essential instruments for resolving regional tensions and preventing further escalation.
