His Excellency Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi received Thursday a copy of the credentials of ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State Prince Saad bin Mansour bin Saad bin Saud bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.His Excellency the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs wished the ambassador success in fulfilling his duties, affirming the commitment to providing all necessary support to strengthen bilateral relations and foster closer co-operation across various fields.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued Saturday Amiri Decision No. 58 of 2025, appointing Abdulaziz Mohammed Khalifa Ahmed al-Sada as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Thailand.His Highness the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No. 59 of 2025, appointing Hamad Salem Dhaen al-Sheikh al-Kuwari as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Democratic Republic of Congo.His Highness the Amir further issued Amiri Decision No. 60 of 2025, appointing Mansour Abdulla Salem Saad al-Sulaitin as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia.His Highness the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No. 61 of 2025, appointing Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Maliki al-Juhani as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Singapore.The decisions are effective starting from their date of issue, and are to be published in the official gazette.

His Excellency the Shura Council Speaker Hassan bin Abdullah al-Ghanim met separately Sunday with Mauritanian ambassador Mohamed Mohamed Abdullah Bebane and French ambassador Arnaud Pescheux.**media[382327]**Discussions during the meetings addressed Qatar's relations with Mauritania and France, and ways to further develop them, particularly in the field of parliamentary co-operation.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani met Sunday with Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Qatar Walid Fahmy al-Faqi.The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, as well as issues of mutual interest. The ambassador conveyed Egypt's condolences over the death of three members of the Amiri Diwan in a traffic accident in Sharm el-Sheikh while performing their official duties, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
