Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) has condemned the Israeli authorities' decision to close two cases referred by the organization for review without opening criminal investigations.The two cases concern multiple attacks on an MSF convoy in Gaza City in November 2023, which killed two people, and an airstrike on an MSF shelter in Khan Younis in February 2024, which killed two people and injured six others.In a statement, MSF said the decision came nearly two years after it submitted its requests and after the organization petitioned the Israeli Supreme Court over the military prosecutor’s failure to respond to its formal requests.MSF described the decision as unjust and unacceptable, criticizing the closure of the cases after two years of silence."This is not surprising when a military institution is tasked with investigating its own actions,” the organization said, arguing that the system had demonstrated an unwillingness to address violations in Gaza that may amount to war crimes.MSF said its staff members and their family members had been killed by Israeli forces despite the organization having notified Israeli authorities of their locations. The vehicles involved were also clearly marked with the organization’s emblem, it said.The organization said the decision effectively confirmed that there would be no meaningful accountability within Israel’s legal system for the deaths of its staff, and called for the cases to be reviewed by an independent, impartial investigative body.According to MSF, 15 of its staff members have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza since October 2023, along with around 1,700 healthcare workers.MSF reiterated that no military objective can justify the mass killing of civilians and that an internal military review cannot replace genuine, independent and impartial accountability.  

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on Saturday condemned Israel's continued settlement plans in the occupied West Bank, including the E1 settlement project, warning that pursuing such plans constitutes a flagrant challenge to international law and a systematic undermining of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi stressed that such practices by Israeli occupation forces would undermine prospects for peace and threaten international and regional efforts to establish an independent Palestinian state. He called on the international community to take serious and responsible action to halt Israel's settlement policies and plans and to oppose any measures aimed at altering the geographic and demographic character of the occupied Palestinian territories. Albudaiwi reaffirmed the GCC's steadfast support for the Palestinian people's right to establish an independent state within the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant international legitimacy resolutions.

The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli airstrikes that targeted the Abu Al Duhur air base in Idlib, the Syrian Arab Republic, considering it a flagrant violation of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a clear violation of the provisions of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that Israel's continued violation of the sovereignty of the countries of the region without deterrence reveals a dangerous approach to imposing a fait accompli by force and a systematic disregard for international legitimacy. The ministry underscored that if Israel seeks to impose a new reality in its surroundings, then the international community, in turn, must deal firmly with the fact that the Israeli occupation is acting as if it is above the law, in light of international silence and inability to deter it, and must bear its responsibilities in putting an end to its violations.The ministry warned that the absence of accountability and deterrence encourages Israel to persist in its violations, threatens security and stability, and drags the region into a wider spiral of escalation.The ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance of standing by the fraternal Syrian Arab Republic, affirming its solidarity with the Syrian government and its support for everything that would preserve Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity. 

Qatar has strongly condemned the Iranian attack targeting two UAE oil tankers belonging to Adnoc while they were crossing the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as a grave violation of international law, freedom of maritime navigation and UN Security Council Resolution 2817. In a statement yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm rejection of using the Strait of Hormuz as leverage and called for the waterway to be reopened unconditionally. The ministry stressed that freedom of navigation through the vital waterway was an established principle that could not be compromised, warning that the continued closure of the strait undermined the critical interests of regional countries and the global economy. It also called for an end to Iran’s unjustified aggression against the assets of sisterly countries and reaffirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with the UAE and its support for all measures taken by Abu Dhabi to protect its assets. 

The State of Qatar has condemned the escalation of Israeli settler attacks in the occupied West Bank, including systematic violence against civilians, considering it a flagrant violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions, and an extension of the heinous crimes committed against the Palestinian people.In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that these blatant crimes reflect the occupation government's approach of empowering settlers to commit further attacks under the protection of the Israeli army and security apparatuses. In this context, it called upon the international community to take urgent action to provide protection for the defenseless Palestinian people and to hold those responsible for these horrific crimes accountable.The Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's unwavering position regarding the justice of the Palestinian cause, the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, and the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.  

Kuwait expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the statements made by the Houthi military spokesperson, describing the accusations against Saudi Arabia as baseless and rejecting the threats targeting maritime security and freedom of navigation.In a statement issued today, Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the country's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its security and sovereignty. The ministry stressed that Saudi Arabia's security was an integral part of the security of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.The ministry called on the international community to ensure the implementation of the relevant UN Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2216 on Yemen and Resolution 2722 on the rights and freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. It also emphasized that freedom of navigation through international waterways is a right guaranteed under international law and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. 

The State of Qatar has condemned an Iranian attack on Iraq's Kurdistan Region as a violation of Iraq's sovereignty and a breach of international law.A Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement on Friday said the attack represented a "flagrant violation" of the sovereignty of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and warned of its wider consequences on regional stability.The ministry stressed the need to prevent further repercussions from "unjustified" attacks, urging continued reliance on dialogue and diplomacy, along with efforts to reduce tensions and strengthen regional and international security.The statement also reaffirmed Doha's full solidarity with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, expressing support for measures taken to protect their sovereignty and security. 

The State of Kuwait strongly condemned Thursday the continued Iranian attacks against its territory, describing them as a flagrant violation of its sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, as well as a serious breach of international law, the UN Charter and UN Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026.In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said Kuwait holds Iran fully responsible for the continued attacks and their consequences, stressing that Tehran's continued aggression against Kuwait and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states further escalates tensions and undermines regional security and stability.The Ministry called on Iran to immediately cease its attacks, reaffirming that Kuwait will continue to take all necessary measures to protect its territory, citizens, residents and national interests, while reserving all its legitimate rights under international law. 

The State of Qatar strongly condemned the ballistic missile attack by the Houthi group targeting the southern region of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing it as a flagrant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty and territorial integrity, a breach of international law, and a threat to regional security and stability.In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the State of Qatar's full solidarity with the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its unwavering support for all measures it takes to preserve its security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents. 

The State of Palestine expressed its condemnation and rejection of the Iranian attacks targeting the sovereignty, security and stability of the State of Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Jordan.In a statement on Sunday, the Palestinian presidency affirmed Palestine's support and full solidarity with the targeted Arab countries in confronting the acts of aggression aimed at undermining the security, sovereignty and stability of the sisterly Arab states.It stressed Palestine's full support for the policies and measures taken by Arab states to protect their peoples, preserve their security and stability, and safeguard their sovereignty. It also renewed its call for prioritizing dialogue as the basis for resolving the region's problems, in accordance with international law. 

Saudi Arabia on Sunday expressed its strongest condemnation and denunciation of the continued criminal Iranian attacks on the Gulf states, Jordan and commercial vessels, reiterating its categorical rejection of Iran's violation of the sovereignty of states and its continued threat to the security and stability of the region.In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strongest condemnation and denunciation of Iran's continued conduct that undermines the security and stability of the region, its violation of the principles of international law, the United Nations Charter, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the principles of good neighborliness, through repeated Iranian attacks on commercial vessels that threaten the security and freedom of navigation, as well as the continued criminal Iranian attacks on the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.The ministry also reiterated its categorical rejection of Iran's violation of the sovereignty of the sisterly states and its continued threat to the security and stability of the region.

The State of Qatar strongly condemned the renewed attacks launched by the Islamic Republic of Iran against its territory, as well as the territories of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman, and the State of Kuwait, considering these attacks a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the targeted countries, and a flagrant breach of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and the principles of good neighborliness. In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the continuation of these attacks constitutes a dangerous escalation that will complicate de-escalation efforts and undermine political and diplomatic endeavors aimed at achieving security and stability in the region. Qatar held the Islamic Republic of Iran fully and legally responsible for these attacks and their resulting repercussions and consequences. The Ministry emphasized that the State of Qatar reserves its full right to respond, in accordance with the provisions of international law and Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, and to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and citizens. The State of Qatar reiterated its full solidarity with its sister nations and its support for all legitimate measures they take to preserve their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. The Ministry stressed the necessity of an immediate and complete cessation of all military actions and attacks that threaten the region's security and stability, refraining from any actions that could escalate tensions, and a serious return to dialogue and negotiations, as well as adherence to the understandings reached through diplomatic efforts.
