An Amiri Air Force plane of the Qatari Armed Forces arrived Wednesday at Rafic Hariri International Airport, carrying 70 tons of foodstuffs, representing a new shipment of food aid provided by Qatar to the army of the Lebanese Republic.
In July, Qatar announced that it would support the Lebanese army with 70 tons of foodstuffs per month for a year, as part of the efforts of Qatar and its firm commitment to support the Lebanese Republic and stand by the Lebanese people, in addition to its firm belief in the importance and necessity of activating joint Arab action.
