The competent authorities at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) referred Al Mutakamelah for Wedding and Events to the Public Prosecution for hosting a social event by setting up a wedding tent.
The ministry said that the company violated the Council of Ministers' decision regarding the procedures for the gradual lifting of Covid-19 restrictions, which stipulates that weddings will continue to be allowed in wedding halls in hotels and independent wedding halls only.
The competent authorities called on the public to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures enforced in order to preserve their safety and others from the spread of the Coronavirus in the community.
