Pearl School will soon tie up with a leading Indian educational institute, Dr Mohamed Althaf, director of the school, has said.
“Negotiations are going on with several institutes in India and we are about to take a decision. Several leading institutes have shown interest in collaborating with us and we have shortlisted about three institutes. The final decision will be taken very soon,” said Dr Althaf.
He was speaking to the media on the sidelines of a press conference held yesterday to announce the opening of the new campus of Pearl School in Al Meshaf.
“We like to develop the holistic personality of a child and have got all the infrastructure and trained staff for the same. We are also following the new national education policy advocated by the government of India. We have already incorporated many of the salient features of the new policy in our curriculum, which will help the students in a big way,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Pearl School president Sam Mathew said the school will provide scholarships for deserving students. “We are planning to launch scholarships for meritorious students as well as those who cannot afford the fees. It will be up to 50% of the total tuition fee. This is part of our commitment and social responsibility to groom the next generation and provide all the support as we believe in developing the know-how with the latest advancements in technology,” he added.
The newly opened Pearl Modern School is fully operational and ready for the 2021-2022 academic year.
