HEC Paris in Qatar, a partner university of Qatar Foundation (QF), will start its next intake of the Specialised Masters Degree in Strategic Business Unit Management (SBUM) programme in January 2021. The institution's latest SBUM degree program includes an all-new curriculum.
Featuring a world-class faculty, HEC Paris updated Specialised Masters Degree has been designed for participants looking to enhance their leadership and management skills or managing their own business unit or company. The programmes content and learning methods blend research with practical application whereby the participants are given exposure to international best and next practices.
"Our SBUM programme has been designed to tackle the challenges of the current times, and the need for adaptation and resiliency at the personal and organizational level," said Dean of HEC Paris in Qatar Dr Pablo Martin de Holan.
"Developing one's leadership and management skills is crucial to cope with the constant changes in the environment, and the introduction of technologies and the changing economic conditions," he added.
The HEC Paris in Qatar Specialised Master's Degree is delivered in a flexible 15 to 18-month modular format starting with a core curriculum focused on leadership, strategy, finance, and leading change. The in-class part of the program consists of two to five-day modules each representing a total of 360 hours.
The Specialised Masters programme is based on a number of key fundamental principles, which includes an interactive learning environment that encourages participants to discover next generation insights. It focuses on practical application and global success and promotes a rapid integration of the latest trends like digitalisation. The programme also administers an orientation towards responsible leadership and management.
The programme reflects HEC Paris commitment to contribute to the development of a knowledge-based economy in Qatar and to strengthen corporate competitiveness in the region.
Since joining Qatar Foundation in 2010, HEC Paris has witnessed the graduation of more than 400 participants from its SBUM program in Qatar.
