Doha Festival City (DHFC) continues to expand its retail offerings with the opening of local and global brands.

“We pride ourselves in being a partner of choice for international and local brands which enables us to create unique experiences for our shoppers,” DHFC general manager, Robert Hall, told a virtual press briefing on Wednesday.

The steady growth of renowned brands at DHFC has been increasing exponentially, further strengthening Doha’s leading position as an international shopping and dining destination.

Hall said they are also excited to bring more choices for beauty, fitness and dining experiences for mall-goers to enjoy, in addition to newly-opened outlets such as Edge Fitness, Hush Puppies, Rituals, as well as Jasmine – set to open on August 20.

The Edge Fitness, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, features a large area of training space with the latest top of the line equipment from Technogym with cutting edge technology.

Hush Puppies, established in 1958, offers 'the world’s most comfortable and stylish shoes', as well as accessories and apparel.

Europe’s leading bath and body brand Rituals offers products based on ancient traditions and with fragrances created by the world’s finest perfumers. Jasmine utilises creative design to deliver outstanding flower arrangements and customised artistic pieces.

A well-established chocolate maker from Turkey, Maia Chocolates’ menu offers a wide selection of handcrafted chocolate specialties, including a diverse array of pastries, bespoke cakes, and decadent chocolate creations, in addition to delicious macaroons, aromatic coffees and refreshing drinks.

Retail outlets such as Digital House Pro, Karaca Home, and French perfume specialty boutique Ambix, also opened recently at the mall and a wave of new openings is expected to continue.

Papa John's Pizza has opened at DHFC. The popular pizza chain has more than 5,000 locations around the world.

The mall, which also opened several other restaurants, and food and beverage outlets to serve shoppers and families, is home to more than 400 carefully selected international and local brands, including the country’s only Ikea and the largest Monoprix in the world.

DHFC’s North and South food courts remain closed but offers home delivery and takeaways. This is in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and health authorities. Children under 12 are still excluded from entering the mall until further notice.

In line with the preventative measures set out by the authorities, the mall introduced stringent health and safety measures within its premises for its staff and visitors such as a thorough mall disinfection treatment on a weekly basis, robust cleaning and sanitisation operations during mall trading hours, and installing 127 hand sanitising stations in the areas that have commonly touched surfaces.

DHFC also require visitors to show their green Ehteraz QR code at its entrance and all shops, apart from wearing a face mask at all time. It also installed physical distancing stickers in common queuing areas, such as ATM machines, banks, telecommunication kiosks and branches and various retail shops to help and guide shoppers.
