The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced that the Medical Commission will be open to the public from 9am to 1pm on the official working days during the holy month of Ramadan.
The ministry has also announced work schedules for birth registration.
The birth registration offices will receive requests to register and issue birth certificates for newborns who only have advance appointments from 9.30am to 12.30pm, the MoPH has said in a statement.
A number of necessary organisational measures have been taken, which include organising the appointments registered on the websites of the MoPH and Hukoomi to avoid crowds while committing to the implementation of all preventive measures.
Appointments can be booked by contacting the phone numbers announced on the ministry's website.
Director of the Public Relations and Communications Department at the MoPH, Alia al-Kuwari, said the ministry is keen to continue its services with a focus on providing most of these services remotely, particularly through electronic services.
The MoPH has also urged the public to stay at home and fully adhere to all health guidelines and preventive measures to reduce the risk of infection, including sticking to social and physical distancing guidelines and avoiding all kinds of gatherings, including family gatherings.
