Fifty One East and Nexstgo have announced the return of the premier line of Vaio laptops to Qatar during a launch event at FNAC in Lagoona Mall.
The event was attended by Nexstgo chief executive officer Alex Chung, Fifty One East chairman and managing director Bader al-Darwish, Darwish Holding vice chairman Saoud al-Darwish, Nexstgo senior management team, VIPs, and other tech-savvy guests.
The new range of Vaio laptops is currently available exclusively at FNAC in Lagoona Mall and Doha Festival City, Modern Home in Al Maha Centre on Salwa Road, Virgin Megastore in Doha Festival City, Villaggio, Landmark Mall, and Mall
of Qatar.

This year, Vaio adds a very refreshing line-up of laptops to its product portfolio. Vaio SX12 is made in Japan and powered with Windows 10 PRO / Home; this device is available in black, silver, brown and pink colour with full-size backlit keyboard.
It has an Intel Core i5-8265U Processor, Intel Core i7-8565U Processor with 12.5” (even in 11” footprint) full HD display, and has a memory of 8GB / 16GB.  It is built with integrated layers of unidirectional carbon fibre that enhance the protection, while still keeping the laptop thin and light at a mere 899g. 
It supports VAIO TruePerformance, a technology that helps optimise and maximise CPU and overall performance.  It’s fast charging feature allows recharging of the laptop to around 80% in merely an hour. The USB Type-CTM port of SX12 supports charging from your handy power bank or any regular 5V cell phone charger. It also comes with a variety of connection interfaces including a USB Type-C port, 3 USB ports, a HDMI port, a VGA connector and LAN connection.
Powered with Windows 10 PRO / Home, this device is available in black, silver, brown colour with backlit keyboard. The Vaio SX14 is made in Japan and has an Intel Core i5-8265U Processor, Intel Core i7-8565U Processor with 14-inch (even in 13” foot print) full HD / 4K ultra HD display and has a memory of 8GB / 16GB.
It weighs approximately 1.05kg and features a lightweight UD carbon case. It supports VAIO TruePerformance, a technology that helps optimise and maximise CPU and overall performance. It also comes with a variety of connection interfaces, including 4K HDMI, VGA/RGB, LAN, USB Type-CTM, 3 USB Type-A, SD card reader, security lock slot and 3.5mm headset/headphone jack.
The new Vaio A12 is made in Japan and powered with Windows 10 PRO, this device is available in black tablet with silver keyboard with anti-spill backlit keyboard, Intel Core i5-8200Y with 12.5” full HD display, and has a memory of 8GB. Vaio A12 two-in-one device is designed to be a “True Laptop, True Tablet.”
Its exclusive ‘Stabilizer Flap’ design improves stability of the device in use.  The tablet part features a 12.5” multi-touch screen with full HD resolution. When attached to the keyboard base with built-in battery, the total weight is at approximately 1.2kg. In addition, A12 also goes with an all-black version with Intel Core i7-8200Y.
The stylish Vaio SE14 is powered with Windows 10 PRO / Home and is available in red copper and dark grey colour with Island Style Keyboard and an optional backlit too with spill resistance. It has 8th Gen Intel Core Processor i5 – 8265U, i7- 8565U with 14” full HD display, and has a memory of 8GB / 16GB. Connection options are also very comprehensive, with two USB Type-CTM ports, two USB 3.0 ports and a HDMI port. 
It weighs approx. 1.35kgs with 4-Speaker design (top-firing dual speakers, down- firing dual speakers), microphone optimised for Cortana and HD 720p, FHD 1080p (optional) webcam.
