Ooredoo has signed an agreement with Mall of Qatar to become the exclusive telecommunications partner for the mall’s ‘Oasis Stage’, which was named ‘Ooredoo Stage’ during a launching ceremony held on Monday.
Held at the ‘Ooredoo Stage’ at Mall of Qatar, the announcement was made in the presence of Ooredoo COO Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi and Mall of Qatar CEO Stuart Elder.
“When it comes to creating new and unique experiences, the Ooredoo Stage is the source of immersive entertainment at Mall of Qatar that has been enchanting visitors with awe-inspiring live shows since its opening.
“The 360-degree revolving theatrical stage takes spectators to another world, with transformative lighting and sound capabilities dazzling viewers from every angle and giving them an incredible experience,” Ooredoo said in a statement.
The Ooredoo Stage will be the venue for the telecommunications company's exciting programmes and collaborations related to sports, games, and entertainment.
Al-Kubaisi said, “We’re delighted to once again be partnering with Qatar’s favourite mall to bring our people a host of entertainment and family-friendly events. The Ooredoo Stage will see a variety of acts over the year, and we encourage everyone to come along, enjoy the facilities, and take advantage of a free show from Ooredoo and the Mall of Qatar.”
Elder added: “We value the relationships we have with our partners and we are confident that Ooredoo will enrich the stage with activations and events that support our aims in providing the best in class entertainment, delivering exciting and one-of-a-kind events for our customers, and giving an unmatched experience to all visitors.”
Through this exclusive partnership, Ooredoo is planning for exciting programmes and collaborations related to sports, games, and entertainment.
Mall of Qatar and Ooredoo have already worked together on crowd pleasing and successful events such as the meet and greets with British multiple World, Olympic, and European champion Sir Mo Farah, and with Paris St Germain (PSG) stars Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Thomas Meunier, Marco Verratti, and Kevin Trapp, which gave the local community and sports fans the opportunity to meet their favourite players and get autographed posters and t-shirts.
