Property service provider Just Real Estate recently hosted world-renowned British interior designer Katharine Pooley for a special signing ceremony of her latest book, Journey By Design.
Journey By Design explores 19 of Pooley’s design projects in properties around the world.
Pooley interacted with guests, including VIPs and members of the media, and signed copies of her book during the event held at the Just Real Estate sales centre in Al Shoumoukh Tower, Doha.
Pooley, a former banker, is renowned for the blend of luxury and refinement in her designs and for adopting influences and customs gathered from her journeys around the world in her creations.
So far, she has visited more than 196 cities around the world.
The famed designer has crafted luxurious interiors for a vast range of premium properties from a castle in the Scottish Highlands, to a contemporary beach villa in the GCC, an apartment in the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong, and the golden-red interiors of a private residence in Doha.
Her expert attention shines in every setting.
“Katharine Pooley is a globally-renowned name in the world of interior design and it was a privilege to have someone of Katharine’s stature for such an enchanting evening. She has travelled extensively and has great stories to tell that so often are reflected in her designs,” said Just Real Estate chairman Nasser al-Ansari.
“Our guests were captivated by Katharine and I take this opportunity to thank everybody for their continued support,” he added.
In addition to engaging with the famous designer, guests were also presented with the opportunity to get a closer look and deeper insight into the Just Real Estate updated portfolio of properties in Qatar and overseas and the potential investment opportunities available.
