D4Dance Qatar is returning to entertain visitors to Summer Entertainment City.

Qatar residents and visitors will have the chance to witness an array of entertainment shows, sport competitions, and a one-of-kind concert at the Summer Entertainment City (SEC) in the last two weekends of the Qatar Summer Festival (QSF) 2017, it is learnt.
SEC, located at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC), is the festival’s main centrepiece and a family favourite. It features more than 87 games across 11 categories, as well as a slew of sport competitions and other interactive activities for all ages.
Speaking to Gulf Times, SEC's marketing and communications head Michael Stellwag noted that the D4Dance Qatar returns on stage with another set of exciting and colourful desi dance performance for two days between 5.30pm and 9.25pm on Friday and between 6.30pm and 9.25pm on Saturday.
“D4Dance Qatar gave us an exciting performance previously, which enthralled our crowds. Based on their popularity, we've brought them back to show off their Bollywood dance skills. It will be another electric performance this weekend,” he stressed.
The senior SEC official added that D4Dance is an international dance team, which started performing in 2011 in Bengaluru, and the group is making waves in three countries, including Qatar and Germany.
Stellwag urged the public to visit the SEC to watch the international dance team’s “vibrant Bollywood performances” on the stage, as well as other shows, events and activities taking place at various areas of the venue.
SEC visitors are also encouraged to take part in a number of contests, including the “Bollywood D4Dance.” Winners receive prizes courtesy of Shangri-La Hotel Doha, the official hotel partner of the City.

Filipino artiste Jona Viray

SEC is also set to host a mega concert by renowned Filipino artistes Gloc9 and Jona Viray on September 2.
"Gloc9 is the fastest rapper in the Philippines and Jona Viray features silky, smooth vocals that will grab the audience," Stellwag said. "It will be Gloc9's third time visiting Qatar and this will be Jona's first time performing in Doha."
Filipinos, as well as other nationalities, will also have the opportunity to jam with the two stars on stage.
People who are interested can show their talents in singing, dancing and rapping in front of the judges at an audition at DECC from 2pm to 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
Tickets start from QR65, which will include an all-day access to SEC. A wholesome entertainment show, the concert is expected to attract a large number of Filipino expatriates in Qatar, according to Stellwag.
He noted that they also selected key social media influencers to experience SEC's family entertainment for themselves.
The strategy helped boost awareness of more than 87 activities, 40 dining options, and international entertainment available at the event.
"A majority of the influencers have come to SEC on their own to experience the uniqueness of the event. This has led to larger crowds following their public appearances," Stellwag added. "It's been a pleasure having their support."
SEC will also continue offering ‘active and interactive’ activities such as skateboarding, BMX ride and acrobats, and the obstacle challenge as part of its efforts to engage residents into an active lifestyle.
With a positive response from the public since its inception, the festival will draw a huge number of visitors and spectators who will be spending their Eid al-Adha holidays in Doha, Stellwag said.
