Leading international toy store JouéClub opened its first store in the Gulf at Fifty One East, Lagoona Mall. The opening was held under the patronage and attendance of Qatar Chamber chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani.
Darwish Holding chairman and managing director Bader Abdullah al-Darwish, French ambassador Eric Chevallier, and JouéClub president and general manager Alain Bourgeois-Muller were also present on the occasion.
The grand opening saw a gathering of families to play and interact with popular mascots and enjoy some games.
Speaking to Gulf Times, Chevallier said that it was a great occasion that marks the collaboration of two great organisations. “JouéClub offers quality products for young kids and Fifty One East is one of the most reputable companies in Qatar."
Al-Darwish, said, “The opening of JouéClub at Fifty One East is a momentous landmark in our journey as it allows us to meet the increasing demand for high-quality children’s products and family entertainment experiences in Qatar, and the wider region.”

The outlet at Fifty One East spans an area of more than 1,000sqm and has the 'largest selection of toys under one roof', featuring larger-than-life doll houses, dinosaurs, planes, race cars and characters. With knowledgeable and toy-trained staff on-hand to help customers, JouéClub claims that it is 'the perfect place for the perfect toy.'
JouéClub has more than 350 stores worldwide. Since launching in 1952, it has been a favourite destination for kids and grown-ups alike with its impressive assortment of toys, games, sporting goods, electronics, software and baby products.
