More than 100 exhibitors will feature a wide range of “ultra luxury lifestyle products” at a unique and one-of-its-kind exhibition at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) scheduled from November 5 to 8, organisers have said.
Dubbed as “Ultra Luxury Qatar 2017” exhibition, the four-day event aims to provide a platform for global luxury brands to meet and showcase their products to a highly targeted and sophisticated group of VIPs.
“The exhibition is designed to meet their needs and provides luxury customers with unforeseen unique experience,” Ultra Luxury ambassador Ghada al-Khater said.
“This will be the first time that an event like this will be held in Qatar,” she stressed.
The exhibition, supported by Qatar Tourism Authority, will occupy a 10,500sqm space distributed across two halls within DECC.
Citing figures from Wealth X, Ultra Luxury’s ‘knowledge partner,’ al-Khater noted that GCC represents a big opportunity for luxury brands, which is home to more than 4,500 ultra high net worth individuals with an estimated fortune of $817bn.
She said that among their top interests are real estate, sports, and collectible cars, “which will form the basis for Ultra Luxury’s offering, in addition to private jets, accessories, fashion, and art, among others.”
Ultra Luxury managing director Kim Walker said they will be bringing unique, rare, and one-of-a-kind products to the
market.
“We will have a mixture of business-to-business and business-to-consumer, it isn’t necessarily a retail environment and the exhibitors that we have and the types of products that they will have would go necessarily be made to order,” she added.
The exhibition will also feature the ‘Ultra Lounge, an area dedicated to networking and one to one meetings; ‘Ultra Wisdom,’ a knowledge area dedicated to seminars and workshops by leading luxury brands; and the ‘Ultra Boulevard,’ a unique catwalk area featuring the latest trends and collections from global and
regional designers.
