Vodafone Qatar is showcasing 10 technology demonstrations at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Doha 2026, highlighting solutions for uninterrupted connectivity, business development and smarter decision-making across different sectors.
Returning for the second consecutive year as a strategic partner of the event, the telecommunications company is presenting its innovations across four sections at its exhibition stand, including a vehicle connectivity solution developed in collaboration with Kuwaiti security forces.
Speaking to Gulf Times, Abdulhadi al-Sahli, head of Media Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at Vodafone Qatar, said the demonstrations were designed to highlight how technology could address practical challenges and create opportunities for businesses and communities.
Among the featured demonstrations is a specially equipped vehicle designed to maintain connectivity even when the network connection is disrupted. Developed in collaboration with Kuwaiti security forces, the solution highlights the importance of reliable communications when uninterrupted connectivity is critical.
The demonstration highlights how resilient communications technology can support security operations and help maintain contact in challenging circumstances, where conventional network availability may be limited.
Vodafone Qatar is also presenting Pineapps, a solution aimed at supporting aspiring entrepreneurs and those looking to establish new businesses.
The platform helps users identify suitable business opportunities by providing insights into business types, potential locations and relevant demographic groups. By offering these insights, it aims to help entrepreneurs make more informed decisions before entering the market.
"We have Pineapps, which is a demo that we are presenting for people that want to do new businesses. It can show them their business type and the best location and the best demographic that they can use," al-Sahli explained.
He said the initiative was intended to create opportunities for enterprises to improve their operations and make better use of available business insights.
"So we're hoping that we give good opportunities for enterprises to be better in their businesses as well," he added.
The demonstrations form part of Vodafone Qatar's wider participation in MWC26 Doha, which brings together telecommunications companies, technology providers, policymakers and industry leaders to discuss the future of connectivity and digital innovation.
MWC26 Doha, held under the theme 'The IQ Era', runs from November 8 to 10 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, bringing international technology leaders together to explore developments shaping the future of connected societies and intelligent economies.
