Vodafone Qatar recently announced significant progress in its collaboration with Google Cloud at the Google Cloud Summit Doha to help accelerate Qatar’s digital transformation.
Building on the joint agreement signed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Doha in November 2025 through Meeza, the companies are executing a strategy designed to modernise infrastructure and pioneer agentic and generative AI integration at scale.
The collaboration is centred on a full digitisation plan that transitions Vodafone Qatar from traditional infrastructure to a cloud-native powerhouse.
Key milestones include the successful transition of core workloads, including Nokia Corteca, from on-premises data centres to Google Cloud. This migration enhances network agility and provides a foundation for future 6G readiness.
Other milestones include the implementation of joint security initiatives leveraging Google Cloud’s global security expertise to protect critical national infrastructure and customer data, as well as the broad deployment of Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise Application across Vodafone Qatar’s business units.
A cornerstone of the collaboration is using Gemini Enterprise to help drive operational excellence. Vodafone Qatar is leveraging Google Cloud’s agentic AI capabilities to deploy no-code agents, allowing employees to automate complex business functions and workflows with minimal technical intervention.
The initiative is designed to increase speed-to-market for new services and significantly enhance the customer support experience through intelligent, context-aware AI assistants.
