Qatar's Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has launched an endowment fund to support diabetes patients, as part of its healthcare endowment program.
The initiative, launched by the ministry's General Directorate of Endowments, aims to develop sustainable endowment resources and direct their proceeds towards helping patients cover treatment costs and providing medicines and essential medical supplies.
Hassan Al Marzouqi, director general of the General Directorate of Endowments, said the fund was designed to address the community's healthcare needs and help ease the financial burden on beneficiaries.
He said the initiative was aligned with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs' 2025-2030 strategy.
