Second Vice Chairman of Qatar Chamber Rashid bin Hamad Al Athba met on Tuesday with President of the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (Addis Chamber) Zehara Mohammed.
The meeting discussed ways to boost Qatari-Ethiopian ties, enhance cooperation between both countries' business communities, and explore investment opportunities in various sectors.
In his remarks, Al Athba noted that a number of Qatari investors have successful investments in Ethiopia, particularly in the agricultural sector and health-care services.
He also affirmed Qatar Chamber's support for strengthening cooperation among Qatari and Ethiopian companies and facilitating business-to-business contacts and joint investment partnerships.
For her part, Zehara Mohammed gave an overview of Addis Chamber and highlighted Ethiopia's investment climate and opportunities, particularly in agriculture, industry, mining, and real estate, as well as the incentives and facilities offered to attract foreign investment.
