Qatar Charity (QC) received a donation of QR100,000 from General Takaful Company in support of its humanitarian and development projects.
The contribution reflects the company’s commitment to social responsibility and its continued support for charitable and humanitarian initiatives.
The donation was received during a meeting at the QC’s headquarters, where chief executive Yousef bin Ahmed al-Kuwari welcomed General Takaful Company chairman Jassim al-Kuwari and general manager Faraj al-Omari in the presence of representatives from both sides.
Al-Kuwari thanked General Takaful Company for its generous support, noting that contributions from private sector institutions play a vital role in strengthening humanitarian and development efforts.
He said that such partnerships enable Qatar Charity to expand the reach of its projects and programmes and serve more vulnerable communities around the world.
“We highly value this support, which reflects the spirit of social responsibility and the importance of effective partnership between private sector institutions and humanitarian organisations,” said al-Kuwari. “This contribution will further strengthen our ability to implement more projects with sustainable impact.”
He also called on national companies and institutions to support Qatar Charity’s projects and campaigns, helping meet the needs of vulnerable groups and increasing the impact of charitable and development work worldwide.
