QIIB and Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA), Visa’s advisory services arm, signed a strategic collaboration agreement to support QIIB’s payments growth agenda and enhance customer engagement across its card portfolio.
The partnership underscores a shared commitment to supporting Qatar’s digital payments ecosystem and driving financial innovation while significantly enhancing the overall customer experience.
The agreement was officially signed by QIIB deputy CEO Jamal al-Jamal and Visa vice president and country manager for Qatar Luca Bianconi, in the presence of QIIB CEO Dr Abdulbasit Ahmed al-Shaibei and Fadi Moukaddem, senior vice president and group country manager for Visa across the UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar.
The collaboration will focus on data-led portfolio management, targeted customer campaigns, cross-sell and spend migration initiatives, and sales enablement programmes. It will also explore advanced consumer engagement tools, customer acquisition support, and next-generation portfolio optimisation initiatives designed to improve customer relevance, card usage, and long-term value creation.
