His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani received a phone call Tuesday from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
At the beginning of the call, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan expressed his condolences to HH the Amir following the accident at an industrial facility in Ras Laffan, while offering his deepest sympathies to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery, and affirming the UAE's support for and solidarity with Qatar during this difficult time.
HH the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to the UAE president for his sincere sentiments and his expression of brotherly solidarity, commending the UAE's stance and its support for Qatar. They also discussed the close fraternal relations between their two countries.
