His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met Tuesday at the Amiri Diwan with UK Secretary of State for Defence John Healey. They discussed the latest regional and international developments amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
The two sides also reviewed avenues of bilateral co-operation, particularly in the field of defence, and explored ways to further enhance and develop them in a manner that serves the shared interests of the two friendly countries, especially military co-operation and efforts aimed at addressing security challenges.
