During a month defined by generosity, Snoonu transformed everyday moments into meaningful acts of giving, leveraging its platform to connect technology, community, and purpose at scale.
Throughout Ramadan, the Qatari-founded super app enabled more than 185,000 acts of kindness, demonstrating how simple, daily interactions can drive real and lasting impact. In total, over QAR 1.4 million in donations and close to QAR 1 million in tips were facilitated through the platform, supporting initiatives that delivered 216,500 Iftar meals to families in need, provided medical assistance, and brought dignity and joy to communities during Eid.
One of the campaign’s most visible moments took place across Doha, where Snoonu riders, in partnership with Qatar Charity, carried illuminated messages of hope, turning everyday delivery routes into moving symbols of solidarity.
At the core of the initiative was Delivering Kindness, in which the in-app mechanism enabled merchants to donate 1 QAR for every order placed via a dedicated banner, seamlessly integrating giving into the customer journey and enabling users and merchants to contribute with every transaction. These efforts extended to on-ground initiatives, including Iftar distribution programs, ensuring support reached those most in need throughout the month.
The campaign culminated on the 27th night of Ramadan through the “Warding off Calamity” initiative, contributing to a broader effort that raised over QAR 40 million to support critical medical programs across multiple countries.
Snoonu’s impact also extended internationally through its partnership with Education Above All (EAA). Through the Kiswet Al Eid campaign, the initiative reached 2,570 children in Gaza and supported the distribution of over 30,000 clothing items to Palestinian and Syrian refugee children in Jordan.
Additional collaborations with organizations, including Qatar Red Crescent, Qatar Cancer Society, and the Thani Bin Jassim Foundation, further expanded the scope of support, spanning healthcare, humanitarian aid, and community initiatives.
Closer to home, Snoonu also placed a strong focus on its riders, the people who keep Qatar moving every day. Through nearly QAR 1 million in tips, alongside bonuses and surprise Iftar initiatives, including a dedicated collaboration with Tarahom, the company recognized the individuals who continue to serve communities, often under demanding and challenging conditions.
Their role goes far beyond delivery, they are a vital part of daily life, ensuring continuity, access, and support when it matters most.
Alongside these efforts, Snoonu also launched a “Support Local” initiative, encouraging the community to discover and support homegrown businesses, reinforcing the importance of standing by local entrepreneurs during challenging times.
What this Ramadan ultimately revealed is something deeper.
Even in challenging times, Qatar once again demonstrated what truly defines it — a nation built on solidarity, generosity, and a shared sense of responsibility.
From individual contributions to collective efforts at scale, the community came together to create impact where it was needed most.
A powerful reminder that kindness does not pause in difficult moments, it rises.
