Two goals from Ahmed Alaaeldin in the 36th and 66th minutes, along with Roger Guedes' strike in the 62nd minute, sealed victory for Rayyan.
At the Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium, Umm Salal scored two late goals to dash Al Bidda's hopes, with Antonio Mance finding the net in the 73rd minute before Cristo Perez added another in the 87th minute.
