The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) confirmed that all of its 31 health centers continue to operate as normal, providing a full range of primary healthcare services.
It added that all scheduled appointments and specialist clinics are running as usual.
Patients may book, cancel or reschedule appointments by calling 107 during standard operating hours.
PHCC's specialist clinics are operating as scheduled, including cardiology, ophthalmology, ENT, dermatology, pediatrics and other specialized services delivered within the primary care setting. Patients continue to receive coordinated care through their registered health centers.
PHCC provides 24-hour Urgent Care Services for registered patients with non-life-threatening conditions such as minor burns, sprains, severe headaches or earaches, high fever, dehydration and dizziness.
Patients requiring higher-level care are stabilized and transferred via Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
24-hour Urgent Care is available at the following 14 health centres: Rawdat Al Khail, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Al Kaaban, Al Sheehaniya, Al Ruwais, Muaither, Abu Baker Al Siddiq, Umm Slal, Al Mashaf, Al Sadd, Al Karaana, Leabaib, Al Wajbah, and Thumama.
Patients can access PHCC's Call Center via 16000 for telephone or video consultations with physicians from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week, and with ophthalmologists during weekdays.
A nurse-led telephone triage service operates from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, directing patients to the most appropriate service, including PHCC's 24-hour Urgent Care Centers when needed.
Patients may request medication refills and home delivery by sending a WhatsApp message ('Hello') to their registered health center's dedicated number (available on the PHCC website) between 8:00 AM-2:00 PM and 4:00 PM-10:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday, or by calling 16000 or 107 for assistance. The service requires a valid health card.
PHCC's Nar'aakom mobile app enables patients to manage appointments, view health card details, renew health cards, update assigned health centers or physicians, and manage dependent accounts.
