The Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, has held talks with His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani, in Kuwait.
During the meeting Sunday, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, along with his wishes for good health and happiness to the Amir of Kuwait, and continued progress and prosperity for the people of Kuwait.
In response, the Amir of Kuwait asked HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to pass on his greetings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, expressing his wishes for HH the Amir's good health and happiness, and for further development and growth for the people of Qatar.
The talks included a review of relations between Kuwait and Qatar and ways to strengthen and expand co-operation. The two sides also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah al-Ahmad al-Sabah met with HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani. Discussions during the meeting focused on advancing bilateral co-operation between the two countries, as well as on a variety of topics of mutual interest.
