The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) murdered a Palestinian man on Wednesday after having assaulted him in Al-Ram City, Occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds).
WAFA news agency reported that the IOF assaulted a 57-year-old Palestinian man by attacking him on the head, causing his death, noting that the man was from the governorate of Jenin.
For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its crew received the slain man's body at the Qalandia checkpoint and transferred it to the Palestine Medical Complex.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has announced that the Israeli occupation has murdered at least 67,869 Palestinian civilians and injured at least 170,105 others since the beginning of the genocide that the occupation has been committing against the Gaza Strip in October 2023.
A ceasefire agreement between the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Israeli entity went into effect on Friday, after which the IOF began withdrawing its military from populated areas and sites in the Gaza Strip, and the displaced persons began returning to the northern Gaza Strip. This is part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war in Gaza.
