The President of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmed Al Sharaa arrived in Doha on Monday to take part in the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, scheduled to be held today. The President and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani and Charge d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic to the State of Qatar Dr. Bilal Tourkiya.
