The Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas has called on the international community to immediately intervene and compel the Israeli occupation authorities to uphold their legal responsibility, as an occupier, and act to provide emergency relief to the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip who are suffering from the ravages of blockade and bombardment.
Abbas held the Israeli occupation government responsible for cutting the essential supplies from Palestinian people in Gaza, such as water, electricity, and food items, urging the Palestinian government and relevant entities to act immediately and provide the available potential to aid Palestinians.
Palestinian people are being exposed to an all-out aggression, assault and murders perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces triggering the essential provision of everything that would alleviate their suffering whether at the levels of public, private or level of civil and charitable institutions through operating relief convoys urgently to mitigate their trauma, he added, pointing out that Gaza won't stand alone in confronting this aggression like other Palestinian territories.
