The Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) on Thursday held an orientation meeting for the scholarship recipients for 2023. The meeting, according to an official statement from MoI, was held at the main auditorium of the ministry headquarters in Wadi Al Sail.
The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the Scholarship Department and its role, honour outstanding staff, provide advice and guidance to new scholarship recipients and encourage them to excel.
MoI, represented by the Human Resources Department, has a special focus on scholarship programme as part of the ministry's plan to develop and qualify its human resources, enhance the efficiency and skills of its staff and contribute to the progress and advancement of society while recognising that education is the fundamental pillar of societal development.
Maj. Gen. Khalifa Nasr al-Nasr, director of the Human Resources Department, MoI officials, scholarship recipients and parents attended the meeting. Al-Nasr honoured the outstanding staff of the Ministry of Interior in various academic fields.
