As a part of the Qatar Chapter Capacity Building Programme to enhance and ensure a quality teaching-learning process, MES Indian School organised a one-day orientation programme for the teachers of Indian Schools on the topic ‘Effective Life Skills Education for Sustainable Development’. A total of 157 teachers from 17 Indian schools including the KG & Junior wing teachers of MES participated in the session.
MES teachers Farhana Nazeer and Remya Nandakumar, the resource persons, engaged the attendees with the topic ‘Effective Life Skills Education for Sustainable Development’ which detailed various teaching strategies and techniques that can instill life skills at the formative age of students.
They demonstrated the application level of maintaining social skills such as communication, problem solving, empathy, decision making, confidence, conflict resolution, time management, creativity, critical thinking with innovative methods.
